Despite being marketed as horror, it’s not as dark as Higurashi. That said it’s still a solid 10 hour story with memorable parts, but some slower ones too. A unique take on curses that starts off hectic but zips up nicely. The characters are great, and they grow on you even more once you get to their respective routes. Their fears and insecurities are all strongly connect to the supernatural. They are all very strong personalities and they are willing to fight their nightmares even in the face of defeat.
