Blazing Star PC Game Overview

BLAZING STAR PC Game is a scrolling shooter which was released in 1998 as the sequel to PULSTAR. Players choose between 6 spaceships with various strengths, and join the endless war between the planets Remuria and Mutras. Breaking charged shots will change their attack type, and eliminating enemies with them will lead to high scores. Master all the shooting technics and aim for the highest score! Players progress through the game by shooting down enemies with split shots and charged-up attacks, and by picking up power up and bonus items.

The unofficial sequel to Pulstar, Blazing Star is again a horizontal-scrolling shoot-’em-up. Each ship has its own types of shots, but also a standard shot, charged shot (more powerful) and split shot (a charged shot can be parted into more bullets, lowering the power of each bullet while widening the fire range). One or two players proceed along levels, each with a boss enemy at the end, trying to redeem the humankind. There are six ships to choose from, each with its own pilot (four of them females), weapons and characteristics of movement.
